1900年艾爾加推出其代表名作神劇「傑隆提斯之夢」，在倫敦皇家亞伯特廳上演時，其盛況可與韓德爾「彌賽亞」相匹敵，也從此確立艾爾加努力自學的聲名。這裡收錄的版本是布烈頓、倫敦交響愛樂、合唱團及劍橋國王學院合唱團攜手合作結晶。Gramophone雜誌推崇「男高音皮爾斯的唱腔令人記憶深刻而不作第二人想，女低音明頓、男低音謝利─賈克兩人的真情演出，都深深打動人心。」
